Desired Skills and Experience
- Foreign trained Physiotherapist / Licensed KIN/PTA college diploma
- 2+ years of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings preferred
- Clinical skills in manual therapy and functional exercise
- Availability to work flexible hours
- Operate and maintain modality equipment including IFC, Ultrasound, Laser,
- Deep knowledge of different physical therapy techniques
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong customer engagement and retention ability.
- Self-motivated individual with ability to work independently and within a team
Duties
- Follow and implement treatment plans designed by physiotherapist
- Perform various treatments as prescribed and directed by the supervising Physiotherapist including but not limited to gait training, balance exercises, transfer training, range of motion, strengthening, application of modalities. (i.e. heat, ice, ultrasound, TENS)
- Communicating, reporting, patient follow up calls, hands on treatment, updating patient progress
- Maintain all equipment, laundry, and clean up
- Provide excellent service deliverer and customer retention strategies
