Physiotherapy Hamilton, ON • Stoney Creek
MedRehab Group Hamilton is a physiotherapy clinic at 631 Queenston Road, Suite 302, at Nash Road in Stoney Creek, directly opposite Eastgate Square. It serves Stoney Creek, east Hamilton and the Red Hill corridor, and it is our second-busiest location, with three registered physiotherapists supported by physiotherapy assistants, two registered massage therapists and a chiropractor.
Physiotherapy at Queenston and Nash
Physiotherapy is a larger share of the work here than almost anywhere in the group: close to six in ten visits are physiotherapy treatment and a further one in eight are assessments. Neha Multani, Rima Makwana and Stephanie Merphin Solomon treat back pain and neck pain, shoulder and knee injuries, recovery after surgery and fractures, sports injuries, and a high proportion of work and car accident injuries. More than four in five visits are billed to an insurer, so the team is used to WSIB programs of care and auto insurance treatment plans and does the paperwork with you.
Treatment starts with a one-to-one assessment. Between assessments, supervised exercise sessions with physiotherapy assistants Guido Boin and Deepam Makwana let you progress your programme in the clinic gym under your physiotherapist's plan. Hands-on manual therapy, education, and electrotherapy or ultrasound are used where they add something. Dry needling is available from physiotherapists rostered for it.
What we treat at Queenston and Nash
Work injuries and car accident injuries are the two big streams at this clinic, which reflects east Hamilton's mix of industry, trades and QEW commuting. Low back injury is the single most frequent cause of lost work time in Ontario, and sprains and strains make up more than 80 per cent of the musculoskeletal claims WSIB allows each year. After a collision, neck pain is the usual complaint, and the research is clear that most of the recovery from whiplash happens in the first three months. Physiotherapy treatment is 56 per cent of attended visits here, with dedicated one-to-one sessions another 11 per cent. The team also treats knee and shoulder injuries, rehab after surgery, and everyday back and neck pain.
Work and collision injuries are the two big streams. Alongside them, Queenston and Nash physiotherapists treat:
- Low back injuries, sciatica and disc problems
- Whiplash and neck pain
- Shoulder, elbow and hand injuries
- Knee and hip pain, including arthritis
- Ankle sprains and foot pain
- Sports injuries
- Rehab after surgery and fractures
- Repetitive strain from trades and industrial work
- Headaches with a neck component
- Balance and mobility in older adults
How treatment works
For work injuries the plan follows WSIB's Musculoskeletal Program of Care: assessment, hands-on treatment, a graded strength and mobility programme and return-to-work planning that names the tasks you need to manage. For car accident injuries the physiotherapist starts early movement and progressive strength work and completes the treatment plan with your insurer. Ultrasound, electrotherapy and heat are used where they help. A physiotherapy assistant, working under the physiotherapist's direction, supervises exercise sessions so hands-on time is not lost to it.
Your first visit
Book direct; no referral is needed. Bring your claim number if work or a collision is involved, and the clinic handles the reporting from there. The assessment is one-to-one with a registered physiotherapist: history, movement testing, a working diagnosis in plain language and a plan with a realistic number of visits. Treatment usually starts the same day.
Also at this clinic
Registered massage therapy with Ritu Raj Jangra and Vishal Marwaha, and chiropractic care with Dr. Stefan Brudiu, DC, are both available in the clinic and can be added to your physiotherapy plan.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this the Hamilton clinic or the Stoney Creek clinic?
Both names refer to the same clinic, at 631 Queenston Road, Suite 302, opposite Eastgate Square in Stoney Creek.
Do you treat WSIB injuries?
Yes. Workplace injuries are a large part of this clinic's work. The clinic is set up for WSIB programs of care and handles the reporting with you. See the WSIB physiotherapy page for how it works.
What does a WSIB physiotherapy program involve?
An assessment, then a block of treatment under the Musculoskeletal Program of Care with a defined start and end. It combines hands-on treatment, a graded exercise programme and return-to-work planning. The clinic reports progress to WSIB and recommends modified duties where they are needed.
I was in a collision two weeks ago and my neck still hurts. Is it too late to start?
No. Two weeks is early. Most whiplash recovery happens in the first three months, and starting physiotherapy now, with gentle movement and graded strength work, is what the guidelines recommend. Bring your claim number and the clinic completes the insurer paperwork.
Do I need a referral?
No. You can book a physiotherapy assessment directly. Some extended health plans require a doctor's note for reimbursement.
What is a physiotherapy assistant?
A trained assistant who runs your supervised exercise sessions in the clinic under your physiotherapist's plan. It means more hands-on time between assessments without waiting for a physiotherapist's slot.
Is the clinic open on Saturdays?
Yes, 9am to 2pm. Weekday hours are 9am to 7pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 5pm Friday.
Is there parking?
Yes, free parking at the building, and Eastgate Square's bus stops are across the road.
What Would Your Day Feel Like If You Weren't In Pain?
If you weren’t in pain, you would be able to do the things you want to do, like play with your grandchildren, or take that walk around the park with your dog, or perhaps participate in that athletic event with your co-workers. Stop letting pain control your life. Request an appointment and start your road to recovery!
