I had a great experience at MedRehab with Prachi, Sheryl and Arpita. They helped me a lot with my lower back pain, I truly appreciate all their help and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a physiotherapist. All three of them were very kind, knowledgeable, supportive and professional. They always made sure to make me feel comfortable and the receptionist is also the sweetest lady ever Thank you Rachel ❤️

Mohammed is incredible! He is rich in knowledge and the desire to help. What's a bonus is he is willing to indulge in conversations as he treats you. Since I started with him earlier this year, my TMJ has gone from preventing me from eating, to being a minor issue thanks to his help. I highly recommend him for anyone experiencing similar issues!

Highly recommend Prachi (Physiotherapist)! After my car accident, I had a lot of neck pain, she helped me recover so much. She’s knowledgeable, caring, and professional, and every session makes a difference. I’m very grateful for her support and treatment. The receptionist Rachelle is always so welcoming, friendly, and professional. She makes scheduling appointments easy and creates such a positive experience every visit. Really appreciated their kindness and helpful attitude!

I was treated by Prachi, who worked on my issues with care, consideration, and skill. Came to this location earlier this year with a lot of physical pain and discomfort, and have left feeling lighter in my body and without pain. Coming here has been excellent for coordinating and working with my health.

Staff very welcoming and professional, the physiotherapist easily did the assessment needed and proceeded to provide treatment. I left with a home exercise Program I chose this company and location because of its proximity to home and recommendation from a good friend.

Massage therapy on St. Clair West, Toronto

Welcome to St. Clair and Dufferin. Epifania Mildred Millora is the Registered Massage Therapist at our Toronto clinic, at 1670 Dufferin Street, Suite B03, right on the corner of St. Clair Avenue West. This is the only MedRehab Group clinic inside the city core, the 512 streetcar and the 29 Dufferin bus stop at the door, and it serves Corso Italia, Regal Heights, Oakwood Village, Wychwood, Davenport and Earlscourt. Come by transit, come after work, come as you are.

A west-end kind of tension

Long streetcar rides standing up, walk-up apartments with groceries to carry, desk jobs and phones: the neighbourhood produces tight necks, upper backs and lower backs, and that is most of what massage treats here. Massage is around one visit in seven at this clinic. The rest of the week is cyclists who came off, runners from the ravines, people recovering from surgery, and stress that has settled into the shoulders.

  • Deep tissue and trigger point work for neck, shoulder and upper back tension
  • Low back tension from sitting and carrying
  • Sports and remedial massage for cycling and running injuries
  • Relaxation massage for stress and poor sleep
  • Pre and post natal massage with side-lying positioning

Massage alongside physiotherapy, chiropractic and osteopathy

This clinic has all four under one roof, sharing one file. Massage eases the tension; physiotherapy rebuilds the strength that stops it returning; a chiropractor frees a stiff joint; osteopathy suits diffuse stiffness across several regions. If your therapist thinks another discipline should be involved, the referral is a conversation in the corridor.

Your first appointment

It starts with your history and a look at how you move, then a plan agreed with you before hands-on work. You undress to your comfort level and stay draped throughout, and you set the pressure. Exercises to do between visits are designed for a small apartment: no equipment beyond a band the clinic gives you. Book forty-five or sixty minutes the first time.

Coverage

Most extended health plans cover registered massage therapy to an annual limit; Epifania is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. We bill most major insurers directly. Massage carries 13% HST. After a car or cycling collision, massage can be funded through your auto insurance accident benefits when it is part of an approved treatment plan, and accident benefits apply to cyclists and pedestrians too. After a workplace injury it can be part of a WSIB program of care for an allowed claim.

Questions we hear at St. Clair and Dufferin

What are your hours? Monday and Wednesday 12pm to 7pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 7pm, Friday 10am to 5pm, Saturday 9am to 2pm. Massage runs on Epifania’s days.

How do I get there? The 512 St. Clair streetcar and the 29 Dufferin bus stop at the corner; St. Clair West station is a short streetcar ride east. The clinic is Suite B03 on the lower level.

Is there parking? Limited. Street parking and Green P lots nearby; transit is easier.

Do I need a referral? No. Some insurers want a doctor’s note before they reimburse; check your plan.

Can I come straight from work in office clothes? Yes. You undress only as far as you are comfortable, and treatment through clothing is possible if you prefer.

Epifania is fully booked. Where else? Our Finch West clinic in North York has four massage therapists and Saturday hours, and Epifania works there on some days too.
