Welcome to Queenston Road. Dr. Stefan Brudiu, Doctor of Chiropractic, is the chiropractor at our Stoney Creek clinic, 631 Queenston Road, Suite 302, directly opposite Eastgate Square. This is the second-busiest clinic in the group and the only one in Hamilton, serving Stoney Creek, east Hamilton and the Red Hill corridor, and Dr. Brudiu works in the same rooms and from the same notes as our physiotherapists and massage therapists.

How a claim works here

For a workplace injury, once your claim is registered, treatment runs inside a program of care led by the physiotherapist, and Dr. Brudiu delivers the joint-focused part of it where that helps. For a collision, the physiotherapist submits one treatment plan to your insurer that can include chiropractic, so the insurer sees one programme rather than three requests. Reception handles the forms for both every day. Bring your claim number.

Getting you back to work, not just out of pain

Most of Dr. Brudiu’s patients have a job to get back to, so the plan is built around it from the first visit: which movements the job demands, what you can safely do this week, and what needs to change before you can do the rest. Treatment mixes adjustments, gentler mobilisation, soft tissue work and exercise you can do on a break, agreed with you before each technique is used, and you stay dressed. The first appointment runs about an hour and is mostly assessment, with treatment usually starting the same day.

Paying for chiropractic in Stoney Creek

For many people here the answer is a claim rather than a plan. Outside claims, OHIP does not cover chiropractic, most extended health plans through work do up to an annual amount, we bill most insurers directly, and no HST is charged. Can chiropractic be part of my WSIB treatment? Where it helps, yes. WSIB funds the program of care, not a particular profession, and the physiotherapist who runs your program can include chiropractic in it.

My employer wants a form saying what I can do. Is that you? The Functional Abilities Form is completed by the physiotherapist running your program, with Dr. Brudiu’s findings feeding into it. Ask reception and it is handled within the clinic.

Do I need an X-ray before I come? Rarely, and never just for the claim. Imaging is arranged only when it would change the treatment.

Where do I park? Free parking at the building. HSR buses along Queenston Road stop at Eastgate Square across the road, and the Red Hill Valley Parkway is minutes away.
