5 out of 5 starsAqsa was amazing for the physiotherapy on my teenage son’s knees. Her hands on treatment along with laser therapy saw great progress in a short period of time. She gave him a reasonable set of exercises with clear explanations that he was able to follow along with easily. Highly recommend and will keep her in mind for future needs

5 out of 5 starsI’ve been getting my therapy at MedRehab Clinic and have had a really great experience so far. Amarjot, my physiotherapist, is very knowledgeable, patient, and takes the time to explain everything properly. Supreet, the PTA, is also very helpful and caring during the sessions. Kulvir, the massage therapist, provides excellent treatment and always makes sure I’m comfortable. The front desk team, Jazz and Jaya, are friendly, welcoming, and helpful every time I visit. Overall, the whole team provides excellent service and genuinely cares about their patients. I’m very happy with my experience at MedRehab Clinic and would definitely recommend them.

All the staff members are very kind, starting right at the door with Jazz who has always been very sweet and helpful to me. 5 out of 5 starsI’d like to start by saying that my massage therapist, Hardik, recommended this clinic for physiotherapy, and I’m so glad he did. From my very first visit, the front desk staff have been incredibly warm and welcoming. They always greet me by name, and I especially appreciate the patience and understanding they showed when I was initially late for appointments and even missed one. If you’re attending physiotherapy, chances are your schedule is already full of medical appointments, and they never once made me feel uncomfortable or judged for the scheduling inconveniences I caused. Supreet, who administers the ultrasound and electrical stimulation treatments, is always pleasant, kind, and professional. She consistently makes each visit a positive experience. My physiotherapist, Amarjot, has also been exceptional. She is patient, knowledgeable, and takes the time to explain everything clearly. She regularly checks in to see how each exercise feels, especially when introducing new ones to challenge my recovery, ensuring I’m comfortable while still making progress. She has educated me on the importance of strengthening surrounding muscles as they impact the overall mobility of my knee and ability to bear weight. We’ve had some difficulty finding a knee brace that fits properly, but I have complete confidence in the professionalism and dedication of this team. I truly believe they’ll find the right solution to provide the support I need. Overall, I’ve had a wonderful experience at this clinic and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for compassionate, knowledgeable, and patient-focused care.

5 out of 5 starsI've experienced my second traumatic knee dislocation and i'd still be bedridden if it wasn't for Aqsa (PT), Surpreet & Jazz! These ladies have quite literally given me my quality of life back. I'm not 100% yet but I know stairs and driving aren't too far away... Aqsa is incredibly knowledgeable, has angelic healing hands, and everyones bedside manner and professionalism is top notch. I feel seen, heard, validated when I go there. The methods used are so restorative, what took me MONTHS to accomplish previously with other PT's in 2018 only took me a few weeks with MedRehab. I look forward to seeing you all again soon, and to 'getting my groove back'. I'll be running around in circles in no time. Thank you again, I don't know what I would do without you all. Thank you for teaching me how to walk again. <3 Can not reccomend Aqsa to anyone who is in such pain and needs help. You won't be disappointed.

5 out of 5 starsWhen I found myself in need of physio, I turned to Google. After reading many reviews, it lead me to meet the great group at MedRehab Georgetown. You are welcomed by the lovely team at the front desk, who will go above and beyond to accommodate your schedule and assist with insurance inquiries without hesitation. Aqsa is fantastic! She has great energy, and takes the time to explain the treatment plan to benefit your overall health and success. She does some of exercises along with you to be sure you're comfortable with them. You come first, and she adjusts the treatment for you if needed. Aqsa and her assistant Supreet compliment each other well and that shows in their client care. MedRehab Georgetown is a wonderful clinic. They are all your biggest cheerleaders in your physiotherapy journey, which is appreciated more than they know.

Massage therapy in Georgetown
Welcome to Sinclair Avenue. Hardikkumar Barot and Kulvir Rana are the Registered Massage Therapists at our Georgetown clinic, and between them they see the whole of Halton Hills: GO commuters with necks set like concrete, people who farm or build for a living, runners from the Bruce Trail side of town, and a lot of parents who finally booked something for themselves. The clinic is at 99 Sinclair Avenue, Unit 110, a block off Guelph Street, with free parking at the door.
New to this treatment? Learn about registered massage therapy and what to expect.
Massage is roughly one visit in six here, and Thursday evening until 9pm is the busiest slot of the week, because it is the one that works for anyone commuting to Mississauga or Toronto.
What brings people in
Three things, mostly. Neck and shoulder tension from the drive down the 401 and the day at a desk that follows it. Low backs that have been quietly aching for months and finally got loud. And recovery: from a hockey season, from a long week on a job site, from surgery once the surgeon says hands-on work is fine. Pregnancy massage is a steady part of the week as well, with side-lying positioning as the pregnancy progresses.
What the therapists reach for depends on what the assessment finds:
- Deep tissue and trigger point work for tension that has been there a long time
- Swedish massage for general tension, stress and sleep
- Sports and remedial massage for strains and overuse
- Myofascial release for stiffness that never quite lets go
- Pre and post natal massage, side-lying with proper support
Massage alongside the rest of the clinic
Georgetown is one of the few places in Halton Hills with physiotherapists, a chiropractor, an acupuncturist, an osteopath and massage therapists in one building, and they share one set of notes. If your therapist finds that your neck tightens every week because of a stiff joint or a weak shoulder, they say so, and the person who should treat that is down the hall rather than across town. Plenty of people here have massage as one part of a plan rather than the whole of it.
Your first visit
It starts with a conversation: what hurts, for how long, what makes it worse, and what you want to be able to do again. Your therapist looks at how you move and where the tension actually sits, which is often not where you feel it, then agrees a plan with you before any hands-on work. You undress only as far as you are comfortable and stay draped throughout. You control the pressure, and saying so is expected. Book forty-five or sixty minutes the first time so the assessment does not eat the treatment.
Paying for massage in Georgetown
Most extended health plans cover registered massage therapy to an annual limit, and both therapists here are registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, which is what your plan checks. We bill most major insurers directly so you pay only what your plan does not cover. Massage carries 13% HST in Ontario. After a collision, massage can be funded through your auto insurance accident benefits when it is part of an approved treatment plan, and after a workplace injury it can be part of a WSIB program of care for an allowed claim. Tell us at booking and we handle the paperwork.
Questions we hear in Georgetown
What are your hours? Monday and Wednesday 10am to 8pm, Tuesday 9am to 7pm, Thursday 9am to 9pm, Friday 9am to 5pm, Saturday 9am to 2pm. Each therapist keeps their own days within those hours, so ask when you book.
Can I request a therapist? Yes. Ask for Hardikkumar or Kulvir by name, and stay with one through a course of treatment where you can so your history travels with you. Kulvir also works some days at our Royal West clinic in Brampton.
I live in Acton. Is it worth the drive? Many of our patients make it. The Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings exist for exactly that, and Saturday mornings are popular with people from the rural side of Halton Hills.
Do I need a referral? No. A few insurers want a doctor’s note before they reimburse; check your plan.
Will it hurt? Firm work can be uncomfortable in a productive way and should never make you brace or hold your breath. Say so and the pressure changes. A day of mild soreness afterwards is normal.
How do I get there? Free parking at the building; the clinic is Unit 110 on the ground floor. Georgetown GO is a few minutes away and Halton Hills buses stop on Guelph Street.
